Something very excited has happened to the local food blog world. Locally Grown Gardens, a Middle West Meals favorite, has launched a lovely web presence which seems to be mostly a blog. Among the exciting topics of conversation:
- This Saturday's hog roast and salmon grill,
- An upcoming class on cooking with real (that is, not canned) pumpkins, and
- One of the best Indiana food specialties, persimmon baked goods!

Thanks Kirsten! Hope to see you tomorrow!
Cool! Thanks for the link, I'll add it to the blogroll.
Chef Ron's pork is beyond. Beyond!
I love the people at locally grown. They mean it. Mark wants to make some persimmon gelato. We have pulp. We have, as our dad would say, "the technology". Why did I type that? Anyway, any thoughts?
